Leave No Trace – Virtual Trainer Course

Participants in this Trainer Course learn Leave No Trace skills and ethics as well as techniques for effectively sharing these low impact practices. Research has shown that this course significantly improves participant knowledge and understanding of how Leave No Trace protects the outdoor places we love.

While this course is typically an in-person offering over 2 days, we will be holding this course digitally due to current safety and public health concerns. The good news is, this cuts the price in half for each participant to $60 (or $50 if you are a veteran, senior, or high school/college student). Because of the abbreviated nature of the course, students will be sent out a homework packet that must be completed prior to the date of the course. The “in-person” portion of this course will take place online via Zoom, so each participant must have access to a computer, reliable Internet access, webcam, and microphone to participate. The Zoom meeting portion of the course will take place on Monday, August 3 through Wednesday, August 5 from 5pm-8pm MST each evening.
