Leave No Trace – Virtual Trainer Course

Participants in this Trainer Course learn Leave No Trace skills and ethics as well as techniques for effectively sharing these low impact practices. Research has shown that this course significantly improves participant knowledge and understanding of how Leave No Trace protects the outdoor places we love.

While this course is typically an in-person offering over 2 days, we will be holding this course digitally due to current safety and public health concerns. The good news is, this makes the course cheaper than usual, at $70 (or $60 if you are a veteran, senior, or high school/college student). Because of the abbreviated nature of the in-person portion of this course, students will be sent out a homework packet that must be completed prior to the date of the first in-person meeting. The in-person portion of this course will take place online via Zoom, so each participant must have access to a computer, reliable Internet access, webcam, and microphone to participate, and must be able to attend all three Zoom meetings. These Zoom meetings will take place on Friday, January 29, Saturday, January 30, and Sunday, January 31 from 5pm-8pm Mountain Standard Time each evening.
