Leave No Trace Trainer Course – Step Outdoors Colorado

During the two days of this Leave No Trace Trainer Course participants will learn and teach the principles of Leave No Trace and discuss wildland ethics.  This course emphasizes skills and techniques essential to Leave No Trace minimum impact outdoor ethics and education.  Each participant will be required to present a short (15-20 minute) class on one of the Leave No Trace principles or how it relates to a specific activity.  This course follows the Leave No Trace training guidelines.

This course is designed to be informative, practical, hands-on and fun.  Participants will learn skills and teaching techniques through lectures, skits and discussion in a spectacular outdoor setting.  The course is designed for people who actively teach others outdoors skills or provide recreation information to the public.

Cost: $125 per person; includes training materials and in the field meals.
