Leave No Trace Spotlight: Reserva Natural Bailey y Sarah Williamson

Leave No Trace’s new Spotlight program is a multi-day event to bring attention to community conservation, spread education, and to build momentum and inspire involvement for the future.

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Team will be at the Bailey and Sarah Williamson Nature Preserve Spotlight September 22-23, collaborating with hosts and partners on a variety of programs including stewardship projects, workshops, and community outreach.

Opportunities to Get Involved:

Friday, September 22: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Leave No Trace Trivia Night & Pop-Up Education. Join Leave No Trace and Triangle Land Conservancy at the Bailey and Sarah Williamson Preserve for a night of family friendly fun with food and drinks provided! Register here. 

Saturday, September 23: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Leave No Trace Stewardship Day. Join Leave No Trace and Triangle Land Conservancy at the Bailey and Sarah Williamson Preserve for a day of stewardship. We will work in teams to remove invasive plants on multiple sections of the preserve. Register here.

Saturday, September 23: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Foraging for Brews. Join Leave No Trace and Triangle Land Conservancy at the Bailey and Sarah Williamson Preserve to help forage for fall edible plants for Fullsteam and Steel String to craft into a delicious Fall brew. Register here.
