2019 Hot Spots Announced

Susy Alkaitis - July 13, 2018

This year’s Hot Spot nominations included over 120 landscapes across the country and even the world. In many ways, all of these locations were very deserving and clearly have passionate stewards looking out for them—this made the decision very difficult.  We are proud to announce the 2019 Leave No Trace Hot Spots below! Next year, we will be working with the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, state agencies, non-profits, and land trusts in 13 states across the country.  We are very excited to get started as we work towards outstanding programming, outreach, education, and community building around these 19 landscapes that are being ‘loved to death’!
