How to be a Leave No Trace Zero Waste Champion

Level: Best for grades 6-12 + family 

You must be over 18 to register. By proceeding with registration, you declare that you are over 18 and are registering on behalf of yourself, your Girl Scout troop, or your family.

Adult troop leaders or parents can then provide the webinar instructions to individual troops and Scouts.

What You'll Learn:

The Subaru/Leave No Trace Teams provide proven, research-based skills and education for getting outside in an environmentally sustainable way. Leave No Trace principles and practices protect the outdoors while minimizing our impacts to the land, soil, vegetation, water, wildlife, cultural resources and other visitors.

Join Leave No Trace experts to learn how long it takes for common items to break down in a landfill and what alternatives we can use while exploring and enjoying state parks and outdoor spaces, at school or around the home. We will discuss ways we can reuse certain household items, alternative choices for disposables and how this can help you Leave No Trace in your everyday life!

*Attendees will be encouraged to participate in online based activities.*

Advance registration is required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the webinar. Registration will be capped at 500.
