Road Life: Thule and Leave No Trace

Susy Alkaitis - June 10, 2018

Boulder, Colorado – As Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers, we live, work and play on the road, and Thule helps us bring our lives. Lots of people ask us where our “home base” is located and are surprised to hear that we live full-time on the road, bringing everything with us.

Our car is filled with educational materials, food, a cooler, camping gear, and all the clothes, shoes and layers we need for all types of weather. But we’re also backpackers, climbers, and mountain bikers, and that stuff has to come along too! Our Thule T2 Pro XT hitch rack handles our two mountain bikes, and our super big Thule XT cargo box securely holds our adventure gear – bike shoes, helmets, hydration packs, climbing gear, bear-canister, Deuter backpacks, ENO hammocks, etc. Not only do we get to go to a lot of great places and teach folks how to protect our natural world, but thanks to Thule, we’re able to go outside and play in our downtime.

Enjoy Your World, and Leave No Trace
