Meet Erin and Brice!

Erin Collier

Growing up with first the Sierra Nevada and then the Ruby Mountains in her backyard, Erin’s love of nature started young. Backpacking, hiking, and camping have always been part of her life. She has spent time working with both the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service, further developing her connection to the outdoors and passion for public lands. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Great Basin College and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno. Erin believes that education and storytelling are the best tools for protecting the lands she loves.

Brice Esplin

Brice was born and raised in Nevada, the most mountainous state in the lower 48, leading to a deep love for the outdoors. He has been hiking, backpacking, and back-country snowboarding his entire life and is more at home in a good campsite than an apartment. Brice first learned the importance of Leave No Trace as a young Boy Scout, earning Order of the Arrow honors. He received a double Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication from the University of Nevada, Reno. In his professional life, he has gained extensive experience in effective marketing and produced creative media for the tech industry. Brice believes that when we all work together, we can both protect the environment and recreate responsibly.
